da brdice： According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Fernando Llorente could join Manchester United on a free transfer this summer.
Indeed, on Tuesday evening, Di Marzio published a story on his website claiming that United are considering Llorente as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, should the striker move on in the latter stages of the transfer window.
Lukaku’s exit would leave the Red Devils very short in the final third ahead of a long season.
Llorente scored eight times in 35 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur during the 2018-19 campaign.
But despite netting twice in the team’s run to the final of the Champions League, Spurs decided against renewing the 34-year-old’s contract.

As a result, Llorente is currently a free agent.
