da betcris: West Ham United fans on Twitter have been sharing their opinions on a strikers rumour that was posted by a fan account, via the reliable ExWHUemployee on the latest ‘West Ham Way’ podcast, on Monday afternoon.
ExWHUemployee stated that the club are seeking either Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic or Salomon Rondon of West Bromwich Albion as Andy Carroll’s replacement this summer.
This is because Manuel Pellegrini wants to have a variety of forwards at London Stadium next season to add to the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez who are already there.
Both Mitrovic and Rondon impressed highly in the Premier League last season, the former doing his best to keep a doomed Fulham side afloat with 11 goals and the latter scoring the same amount whilst on loan at Newcastle United.
However, members of the Claret & Blue Army were split as they reacted to the rumour, one wanting to see only the Venezuelan, another desiring just the Serbian and two more suggesting a double deal.
